As Kamala Harris prepares to accept the Democratic nomination for president at the Democratic National Convention, she faces criticism from the Trump campaign for not providing detailed policy positions on her official campaign website.
In response, the Trump campaign has launched its own website outlining what it claims are Harris’s positions on key issues like the economy, immigration, and taxes.
The website, Kamala2024policies.com, was unveiled on Wednesday, the third day of the convention, and features sharp critiques of Harris’s record.

The site accuses her of wanting to “open the borders,” “raise taxes,” and “free criminals.”
It also alleges that Harris seeks to “eliminate private health insurance” and provide Social Security and Medicare benefits to illegal immigrants.
“Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out,” a Trump campaign national press secretary told Fox News Digital. “Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals.”
The website outlines nine key issues, framing Harris as an advocate for far-left policies. It accuses her of opening the southern border to illegal immigration and fentanyl, supporting tax hikes through spending bills, and advocating for policies like the Green New Deal.
“Border Czar Kamala Harris opened the southern border to illegal alien criminals and deadly fentanyl, and as vice president, was the tie-breaking vote for far-left spending bills that raised taxes and sent prices skyrocketing for families across the country,” the site claims.
The platform also criticizes her for supporting legislation that the Trump campaign says led to inflation and a loss of income for middle-class Americans.
Harris has proposed some economic measures in recent weeks, including federal price controls on groceries and an increase in the corporate tax rate, but these details have not yet been added to her official campaign site.
Instead, her campaign website features biographies of Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, along with options to donate and purchase campaign merchandise.
Harris’s lack of a formal policy page has drawn comparisons to previous Democratic candidates.
When Joe Biden was running for president in 2020, his campaign produced a 110-page policy document. In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s campaign site included 200 distinct policy proposals.
The Trump campaign’s criticism of Harris extends beyond her website.
They’ve also called out her lack of a formal press conference since becoming the presumptive nominee.
Despite making numerous campaign stops and holding rallies across the country, Harris has yet to sit down for a formal interview or hold a press conference to outline her vision for a Harris administration.
CNN’s Jim Acosta recently pressed Harris’s communications director, Michael Tyler, on this issue, asking why Harris has not faced the media more directly.

Tyler responded that Harris and Walz have been busy on the campaign trail and suggested that a press conference would be held soon, with Harris expected to participate in a media interview by the end of the month.
