Caroline Ellison (29) was instrumental in the investigation and conviction of fallen crypto entrepreneur Sam Bankman-Fried. However, her cooperation with the authorities did not save her from being convicted for her involvement in the FTX crypto platform fraud case. Ellison has been sentenced to 24 months in prison. This verdict marks a new chapter in the aftermath of the FTX collapse, which exposed a massive financial fraud of approximately $10 billion.
