A recent investigation by a Fox affiliate in St. Louis has uncovered evidence that Democratic operatives may have been encouraging noncitizens to register as voters in support of Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz in the upcoming election.

Vice President Kamala Harris is joined by Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz at a rally on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wis.

The investigation was prompted after flyers were found at the workplace of migrant workers, urging them to vote for Harris and Walz.

The flyers, which were mailed to a local landscaping business employing Mexican workers on temporary H2-B visas, featured bold text reading, “Stop the steal by stopping Trump’s allies.” The message encouraged the workers to “vote for Harris-Walz and pro-worker candidates.”

The business owner, concerned about the legality of the materials, reported the situation to Fox2 News, raising concerns about potential voter fraud.

The workers involved are authorized to work in the U.S. under H2-B visas, which do not grant them the right to vote, making the flyers particularly troubling for the business owner.

According to him, the union representing his workers, the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA), funded the flyers. However, when contacted by the news station, the Washington, D.C.-based union did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

This discovery comes amid heightened scrutiny of voting processes across the country, with Republicans closely monitoring any potential instances of voter fraud.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has mobilized a team of lawyers to ensure that election laws are followed, particularly in swing states where close races are expected.

In the past month, Arizona experienced issues with 100,000 voters receiving incorrect ballots, raising further concerns about election integrity.

California, a state with high-profile races like the U.S. Senate contest between Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and former baseball star Steve Garvey, has also faced scrutiny.

Democrats in the state have been working to convert migrants into citizens at record speeds, which has added another layer of complexity to the upcoming elections.

Pennsylvania, considered one of the most critical battleground states, has also seen its share of voter fraud investigations. In August, 62-year-old Philip C. Pulley was arrested and accused of violating federal election law by falsely registering in multiple locations.

Pulley allegedly used a false address and social security number when registering in Philadelphia while already being registered in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and Broward County, Florida.

Prosecutors claim he requested and voted via mail-in ballots in both locations during the 2020 election.

In addition to the RNC’s efforts, state-level Republicans are taking action to prevent voter fraud. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, executed search warrants in a Democratic stronghold as part of an ongoing investigation into election fraud.

Paxton’s office announced in August that the investigation was initiated after allegations of vote harvesting during the 2022 elections surfaced.

The investigation led to sufficient evidence being gathered to justify the search warrants.

The ongoing investigations and legal actions reflect the heightened concerns over voter fraud as the country approaches another significant election.

With both parties vying for control in key battleground states, ensuring the integrity of the voting process has become a central issue.

The revelations in St. Louis about noncitizens being encouraged to register raise questions about potential vulnerabilities in the system, and the Republican Party is likely to continue emphasizing election integrity in the weeks leading up to Election Day.
