Photographs released by America First Legal (AFL) have renewed scrutiny over Joe Biden’s connections to Hunter Biden’s Chinese business dealings.

The images, obtained through AFL’s lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), appear to show Joe Biden, as vice president, meeting with Hunter Biden’s Chinese business associates, including individuals with links to the Chinese government.

The photos, shared by AFL on social media, include Joe Biden introducing Hunter and his associate to Chinese President Xi Jinping during an official 2013 trip to Beijing.

Initially described as a diplomatic visit, the trip is now under renewed examination amid allegations that Joe Biden may have used his political position to advance Hunter’s business interests.

Among those reportedly in the photographs are executives from BHR Partners, a private equity firm co-founded by Hunter Biden.

AFL claims the images corroborate earlier findings by the House Oversight Committee, which revealed that Hunter Biden facilitated introductions between his father and BHR executives, including CEO Jonathan Li and Managing Partner Ming Xue.

In February, the House Oversight Committee disclosed details about Hunter Biden’s 2013 trip to Beijing aboard Air Force Two with his father.

The committee alleged that Jonathan Li sought access to Joe Biden’s political influence, reportedly securing connections, including to then-U.S. Ambassador to China Max Baucus.

According to testimony from Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer and emails found on Hunter’s laptop, Joe Biden also wrote letters of recommendation for Li’s children.

AFL asserts that NARA initially scheduled the photographs for release on October 23, shortly before the 2024 presidential election.

However, legal interventions by representatives for Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama allegedly delayed the release until after Election Day.

Of the 313 photographs processed by NARA, AFL reports that 182 remain withheld.

The group has vowed further legal action to secure the release of all materials.

The Biden family’s connections to BHR Partners and other Chinese entities have drawn significant attention.

According to the Oversight Committee, Hunter Biden received a $250,000 “loan” from Jonathan Li, which was reportedly repaid by Democratic donor Kevin Morris.

The committee also uncovered subpoenaed bank records indicating wire transfers to Hunter Biden from Chinese nationals, listing Joe Biden’s Delaware address as the beneficiary address.

Hunter’s legal team has dismissed this as an administrative detail, explaining that he used his parents’ home as his permanent address at the time.

In addition, financial records have shown links between the Biden family and a Chinese energy company, with funds totaling millions of dollars distributed through accounts connected to Hunter Biden and his associates.

A House Oversight report earlier this year traced $10 million in transactions through a network of entities tied to foreign businesses, including China.

On December 1, President Joe Biden issued a broad pardon for Hunter Biden, covering federal offenses from 2014 to 2024.

The pardon, described as a response to what Joe Biden called politically motivated prosecutions, has further intensified scrutiny surrounding the Biden family’s business dealings and alleged misuse of political influence.

As investigations continue, the newly released photographs add another layer of complexity to the ongoing inquiries into the Biden family’s financial and political activities.

Both AFL and congressional investigators have signaled that further revelations may be forthcoming.
