In Bret-Gelieren, a small town in Genk, a shocking incident occurred at the Piehpelplein playground last Friday. Children at the playground reported the presence of an exhibitionist, causing immediate concern among the monitors. Without wasting any time, they contacted the local police, Carma, to address the situation.

The police swiftly responded to the call and are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the police have increased surveillance in the vicinity of the playground. Additionally, the community wardens of Genk have been enlisted to provide extra support in ensuring the safety of the area.

The head monitor of the playground has officially filed a complaint regarding the exhibitionism incident. The Carma police force, in collaboration with the Limburg public prosecutor’s office, is diligently working on the case. However, no further details regarding the incident have been disclosed at this time.

In light of this distressing incident, concerned parents and individuals are encouraged to reach out to the police at 089/39.14.10 or via email at pz.carma.recherche.personen@police.belgium.eu. Any information or inquiries regarding the incident will be handled with utmost importance and confidentiality.

Let us stand together as a community to ensure the safety and well-being of our children, and to bring justice to those responsible for such reprehensible acts.
