Elliot Page, the actor formerly known as Ellen Page, has once again voiced strong support for transgenderism, particularly encouraging children to embrace a transgender identity.
Page, who identifies as a man, posted a video on social media through the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), where she promised children “happiness” if they transition.
In the video, Page offered a message to her younger self, urging acceptance of his true identity.

“My message to my younger self would just be like, ‘You know who you are,’ and, ‘Please embrace that,’” Page said.
The ACLU shared the video with the caption, “Elliot Page said it best: trans people know who we are, and we should be free to embrace our authentic selves.”
Page, who gained fame for roles in Juno and X-Men, shared her personal journey in the video.
She reflected on her struggles with identity and the external pressures that led her to question who she was. “I understood my truth,” Page said during her remarks outside the Supreme Court, which was hearing oral arguments in a case challenging Tennessee’s law banning puberty blockers for minors with gender dysphoria.
“I felt it very strongly, and it was all of these external forces and noises that pushed and pulled and made me sort of lose track of who I was.”
Continuing her message, Page told her younger self, “I’d say that discomfort and that pain you’re feeling — that is not yours, that is theirs.”
She urged others to continue on their journey to embrace their true selves, saying, “to just keep going on the journey of embracing who you truly are, and that’s what’s going to lead you to happiness.”
Page’s remarks come as part of his ongoing public advocacy for transgender issues.
In 2021, Page had breast removal surgery at the age of 34, after publicly revealing her transgender identity the year prior.
Her latest statements continue to promote transgenderism, particularly for minors, an issue that has become highly controversial in recent years.
Earlier in December 2023, Page participated in a rally outside the Supreme Court while justices heard arguments concerning a Tennessee law that prohibits minors from accessing puberty blockers and undergoing sex-change procedures.
Page voiced strong support for allowing minors to receive these treatments, claiming that such methods are “safe and effective.”
