Elon Musk, billionaire entrepreneur and owner of X (formerly Twitter), isn’t one to shy away from a public spat, and his latest exchange with former MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann proves it.
As Fox News reported, the two locked horns in a heated back-and-forth after Musk’s role in derailing a bipartisan government spending bill sparked outrage from liberal pundits.
Olbermann, known for his over-the-top commentary, threw the first punch, posting an expletive-filled message on X targeting Musk: “So @elonmusk you also suck at politics lol f— you fascist.”

Never one to let an insult slide, Musk hit back with a jab that dripped with sarcastic flair, responding, “You elevate Tourette’s to poetry.”

The fiery exchange came on the heels of Musk’s vocal opposition to the initial version of a government spending bill, which he and other conservatives criticized as being riddled with unnecessary provisions.
Musk didn’t mince words, taking to X to call for political accountability, writing, “Any member of the House or Senate who votes for this outrageous spending bill deserves to be voted out in 2 years!”

Musk’s public stand received swift backing from other conservative heavyweights. Former President Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance issued a joint statement denouncing the bill, echoing Musk’s concerns.
Their unified front effectively torpedoed the initial proposal, sending lawmakers scrambling to hammer out a new deal.
Predictably, liberal pundits and lawmakers erupted in outrage. Musk’s critics accused him of meddling in the legislative process and claimed he was wielding his influence to hijack the GOP’s agenda. Olbermann’s tirade was just one of many unhinged reactions from the left.
Conservatives, however, found Olbermann’s attack laughable.
Actor Matthew Marsden pointed out the irony of Olbermann paying for a verified X subscription while railing against Musk: “You support him by paying for your blue tick. Hilarious.”

Comedian Chrissie Mayr joined the pile-on, mocking Olbermann’s inability to quit the platform: “I thought you were leaving Twitter, Keith.”

Musk’s unapologetic stance has solidified his reputation as a disruptor unafraid to challenge the establishment. For conservatives, he’s a breath of fresh air in a political landscape too often bogged down by bureaucratic doublespeak. For liberals, he’s a convenient scapegoat to blame for their failed strategies.
As the dust settles, one thing is clear: Musk’s ability to provoke and dominate the narrative continues to drive both his fans and detractors into a frenzy. And judging by this latest skirmish, he’s not planning to let up anytime soon.
