Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly eyeing a potential interview with Joe Rogan on his wildly popular podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” Critics have labeled this move as a desperate attempt to reach new voters, especially with the Democratic candidate’s campaign seemingly losing steam.

Multiple sources have confirmed to Reuters that Harris’ team has been in talks with Rogan’s crew, although no appearance has been officially scheduled yet, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The timing of this news is notable, coming on the heels of Donald Trump’s claim that he has already secured a spot on Rogan’s show, which draws millions of listeners with every episode.

When asked about it during the “Full Send” podcast, Trump responded, “Oh sure, I would,” and added, “In fact, I think I’m doing it.” Trump praised Rogan, calling him a “good guy” and noting his success thanks to his involvement with the UFC.

Both candidates appear to be vying for a chance to reach Rogan’s massive, primarily male, audience. The podcast could offer a crucial platform for Harris, who has seen her support among male voters diminish in recent weeks.

Polling shows the race between her and Trump tightening, with Trump gaining the upper hand in certain models. For the first time, a Daily Mail election forecast has shifted in favor of Trump, highlighting the growing challenge Harris faces.

Since taking over the Democratic nomination from President Biden, Harris has been relatively selective about her media appearances. However, she’s recently ramped up her efforts with a series of high-profile interviews.

Last week, she appeared on a special Monday night episode of 60 Minutes, an invitation Trump declined. She also made rounds on shows like “The View,” Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show, and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Additionally, Harris taped an episode of the controversial podcast “Call Her Daddy.”

Rogan’s show remains a juggernaut in the podcasting world. With millions of plays and a massive following on platforms like Spotify, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube, his reach is undeniable.

Spotify reportedly signed Rogan to a deal worth over $250 million, and his influence, especially among young men, could be pivotal as Harris seeks to close the gap with Trump ahead of the November 5 election.

In another strategic media play, Harris is also set to make her first appearance on Fox News, agreeing to a sit-down interview with Bret Baier.

The interview, scheduled for Wednesday in Philadelphia, will air just 20 days before the election. Harris has largely avoided Fox News throughout her campaign, making this upcoming appearance all the more significant.
