In a chilling revelation, a Texas law enforcement memo details how members of the Tren de Aragua gang are intensifying their violent attempts to storm U.S. borders, particularly in El Paso, Texas.

Armed with knives, tire irons, and broken bottles, these Venezuelan gangbangers have reportedly threatened to harm border guards who stand in their way, as reported by The New York Post.

Their desperate efforts to breach the border are a direct response to the incoming Trump administration’s promised crackdown on illegal crossings.

Last week, a mob of 20 gang members attempted to force their way through a border gate, and according to the leaked memo from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), another attempt is expected on New Year’s Day.

These attacks are part of the gang’s effort to infiltrate the U.S. before President-elect Donald Trump takes office, said retired Homeland Security Investigations agent Victor Avila.

“You’re seeing that violence at the border because they know that it’s going to change in 27 days. It’s going to be different, and they’re going to be sought after,” Avila told The Post.

An anonymous informant alerted Texas authorities to the gang’s coordinated break-ins, warning that the attacks would continue nightly around 3 a.m.

The gang reportedly plans to target Texas National Guard soldiers, particularly when agents are not present to assist. The same source noted that gunfire along the El Paso border has surged recently, forcing authorities to deploy pepperballs to control the escalating breaches.

This violence is taking place just miles from a March 21 incident where over 200 illegal migrants stormed razor wire and assaulted Texas National Guard soldiers.

One rioter was even seen stomping on a soldier’s knee as they tried to overpower the guards. Tren de Aragua’s activity in El Paso serves as a launch point for gang members heading to other U.S. cities, including New York and Aurora, Colorado.

The Tren de Aragua gang has reportedly aligned with Mexican cartels to bolster smuggling operations. According to Avila, their ideology mirrors that of terrorist groups, driven by a deep-seated hatred for America.

“They hate the United States just like terrorists do and will kill, destroy, and take over businesses, stores, and apartment complexes,” Avila said, warning of their potential to destabilize communities across the nation.

Governor Greg Abbott declared Tren de Aragua a foreign terrorist organization in September, reinforcing Texas’ commitment to tackling the gang’s presence.

Over 100 rioters from the March attack were identified as gang members, prompting the deployment of additional law enforcement resources. Abbott also enacted a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence for smugglers affiliated with the gang.

“Texas is aggressively going after these foreign terrorist organizations,” Abbott declared. “We will not allow them to use Texas as a base of operations to terrorize our citizens.”

As January approaches, the growing desperation and violence at the border underscore the importance of the Trump administration’s pledge to restore border security and protect American sovereignty.
