The unthinkable has happened: the Gallagher brothers are reuniting. Despite Liam Gallagher’s past declarations that he’d rather do just about anything than share a stage with his brother Noel again, the two have managed to set aside their infamous feud to announce a comeback tour that will leave fans buzzing, as reported by TMZ.
This surprising news came directly from the brothers themselves, who took to social media to announce their 2025 reunion tour.
Their message was simple yet impactful: “This is it, this is happening.” With that, the stage was set for the return of Oasis, with the band planning four massive shows at London’s Wembley Arena. But it doesn’t stop there; the tour will also take them to Manchester, their old stomping grounds, as well as Scotland, Wales, and Ireland next summer.

In a dramatic flair that only the Gallagher brothers could pull off, they hinted at the significance of this reunion by saying, “The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.” A fitting statement, given the years of public animosity between them.

Oasis originally split in 2009 when Noel had finally had enough of Liam’s antics, culminating in a heated backstage confrontation at a Paris festival. Concert-goers were initially puzzled when screens at the event announced, “As a result of an altercation within the band, the Oasis gig has been canceled.” What seemed like a joke turned out to be the end of an era.
The tension between the brothers had been building for years. One memorable incident occurred in 1995 when Noel struck Liam over the head with a cricket bat at a studio in Wales after Liam invited a group of rowdy friends.
Then, in 1996, Liam pulled out of an “MTV Unplugged” set at the last minute, citing laryngitis, only to show up in the audience and heckle Noel as he performed solo. The Gallagher brothers were always a ticking time bomb.
Liam, never one to hold back, publicly trashed Noel on numerous occasions, calling him a “complete f***ing s***bag” among other choice insults. Their feud continued for years, marked by legal battles, physical fights, and an endless barrage of online jabs. In 2019, Liam told Rolling Stone, “Oasis is done. If you missed them, that’s f***ing tough luck!”
Yet here we are, witnessing the impossible. It seems that even the most attention-seeking rockstars can find common ground when there’s a lucrative reunion on the table.
