Tony Buzbee, a prominent Texas lawyer, has issued a stern warning to the entertainment industry, claiming to represent over 120 potential victims in an ongoing investigation into alleged sex trafficking involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Buzbee, a former Recon Marine officer and head of a national law firm based in Houston, has joined forces with AVA Law Group to bring these accusations to light.
In an interview on “Mornings on Merit Street” on Dr. Phil’s Merit TV, Buzbee suggested that many individuals within the entertainment world are likely nervous, as they scramble to distance themselves from any potential connections to the allegations. “I expect that there are a lot of nervous people right now who are searching their memories, scrubbing their social media, deleting their data on their phones in the hopes that they are not anyhow in any way associated with this,” Buzbee said during the interview.

He further indicated that the legal actions could extend beyond alleged direct accomplices. Enablers and those who “turned a blind eye” may also be targeted in the forthcoming lawsuits.
While no lawsuits had been officially filed as of yet, Buzbee hinted that legal action could be imminent, with cases potentially being filed within the next month.
“Most of the cases will be filed in New York, but many might be filed also in California,” Buzbee stated, noting that some of the names that will be revealed as defendants could surprise the public.
He added, “There will be a lot of additional defendants that the public will be surprised about — and people that we all know.”

Buzbee has claimed that many of the alleged victims were minors at the time of the incidents, including some as young as nine, 14, and 15 years old. “When you talk about the ages of the victims when the conduct occurred, it’s shocking,” he remarked during a press conference earlier this week.
Combs, who has been held without bail in federal custody in New York, has vigorously denied the accusations through his attorney, Erica Wolff. “Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” Wolff said in a statement to Fox News.

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
Legal experts have suggested that credible civil lawsuits could lead to further criminal charges against Combs. David Gelman, a Philadelphia-based defense attorney, noted that if minors are found to be among the victims, U.S. prosecutors may pursue additional charges. “If there are children that were victims, you can bet the U.S. attorney will investigate and indict Diddy with more charges that are extremely serious,” Gelman explained.
The looming threat of more civil suits could also place pressure on Combs to consider a plea deal, though his legal team has indicated that he has no intention of doing so. “They need to stop the bleeding, and the U.S. attorney is going to keep coming at them,” Gelman said. “If I’m Diddy’s attorney, I’m telling Diddy to authorize me to negotiate the best deal, and if he wants to cooperate, that can only help him before it’s too late.”
As the investigation unfolds, more details are expected to emerge, and the entertainment industry is bracing for potential fallout.
