A pizza delivery in Kissimmee, Florida, took a horrific turn when a delivery driver allegedly returned to stab a pregnant woman 14 times after receiving a $2 tip.

The incident occurred on Sunday at the Riviera Motel on E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities have charged 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo with attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, aggravated assault, and kidnapping.

An unidentified male accomplice involved in the attack remains at large.

The victim, who was staying at the motel with her boyfriend and five-year-old daughter to celebrate a birthday, had ordered a $33 pizza from Marco’s Pizza.

Alvelo delivered the order around 10 p.m.

The woman initially attempted to pay with a $50 bill, but Alvelo reportedly lacked change.

The victim then paid with smaller bills and left a $2 tip.

Later that night, loud knocking at the motel room door drew the woman’s attention.

When she opened the door, a masked man and woman dressed in black forced their way inside, according to an affidavit.

The male suspect brandished a silver revolver and ordered the woman’s boyfriend into the bathroom.

The affidavit states that Alvelo pulled out a pocketknife and began rummaging through the victim’s purse, smashing her daughter’s Nintendo Switch in the process.

As the victim turned to shield her child, she felt a sharp pain in her lower back.

In the chaos, she attempted to grab her phone, but Alvelo reportedly snatched it, smashed it, and began stabbing her multiple times.

The affidavit details how the male suspect ultimately intervened, yelling that it was time to leave, which stopped the assault.

The victim suffered 14 stab wounds to her chest, arms, legs, and abdomen.

She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

During her treatment, doctors informed her she was pregnant.

On Monday, police obtained a warrant and arrested Alvelo, who is being held at the Osceola County Jail on a $55,000 bond.

Her accomplice, however, has not yet been identified or apprehended.

The brutal attack has left the local community in shock.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation and urging anyone with information about the male suspect to come forward.

This violent episode underscores concerns about escalating disputes in everyday situations and the potential dangers faced by service industry workers and customers alike.

As authorities work to bring all parties to justice, the victim’s recovery remains a priority, and the search for Alvelo’s accomplice continues.
