Fox News’s Tammy Bruce issued an open letter to Kerry Kennedy in response to her personal statement.

“You people are awful. Despite your family’s checkered past and horrible behavior of so many of the men, Americans have stood with you out of loyalty, sentimentality, and too often, grief. Despite the questionable establishment of your family’s wealth, the treatment of Marilyn Monroe, the general womanizing, the abandonment of Mary Jo Kopechne to her death, allegations of rape, one could go on and on, but the point is your family has stayed loyal and protective of family members who have done the most appalling of things. But the moment one of your own acts on his conscience for this country you attempt to throw him to the wolves and publicly condemn him. Never a word for the trail of abused or abandoned women left behind by a Kennedy, but because one of your men supports Trump in an effort to make the lives of Americans better, that alone is beyond the pale. In your ugly treatment of your brother you reveal the rot that has broken the hearts of the American people so many times over the years. Beyond that, the economic destruction of American families is something your family would never truly understand. You are not touched by the worry about having enough gas to get to work, or whether or not you can afford eggs this week, if you’ll be safe walking your own neighborhood, or if your child will be safe in their urban public school or even if they will know how to read and write while collecting their diploma. You keep doing civil rights work and public service virtue signaling. But in the meantime, make a pledge to not keep doing damage as Americans are simply looking for a way to reclaim their own futures, the safety of their families, and knowing that maybe, just maybe, they can leave their children a little better off w a future they can rely on. The condition of this country should shock everyone, even if their name is Kennedy. We know it at least shocks one of you who, like us, has had enough of the fear and hopelessness assigned to us for generations. Americans are happy to see Bobby on our side as we refuse to comply and will not go gentle into the catastrophes to which we are expected to succumb. Instead, with Trump and all who join us, we will fight, fight, fight!” – Tammy Bruce

MSNBC’s Jen Psaki decided to have Kerry Kennedy on her show to trash her brother and Donald Trump. Kerry expressed her dismay, describing her brother’s actions as akin to setting “fire to my father’s memory.”

During the interview, Psaki probed Kennedy on her motivations for speaking out, to which she replied, “You know, I think this is really, the stakes this November couldn’t be any higher, which is exactly why my whole family will be fighting so hard to re-elect (it’s elect, not re-elect) Kamala Harris and Coach Waltz (it’s Walz, not Waltz), who have been champions for the values that my family has fought for for years. Donald Trump is the polar opposite. He is a threat to the most basic freedoms that are core to who we are as Americans.”

Kennedy enumerated a list of grievances she associates with Trump, including threats to women’s rights, community safety from gun violence, and the integrity of American democracy. “The right for women to control our bodies. The right to live in communities safe from gun violence, to love me love. And I think if my dad were alive today, the real Robert Kennedy would have detested almost everything that Trump represents. His lying, his selfishness, his rage, his cynicism, hatred, racism, fascist sympathies, deliberate misinformation about vaccines, criminal felony convictions. Dad was the attorney general of the United States,” she stated.

She further detailed her repudiation of Trump’s alleged actions and character, describing them as antithetical to her father’s legacy. “His rape of E. Jean Carroll, his contempt for the poor and suffering, for ethics, democracy, and healing. His cruel sneering at human rights for suffering people in America and around the world. And these are the causes that were loved so passionately by the real Robert Kennedy,” Kennedy explained.

Kerry Kennedy’s sharp rebuke extended to her brother’s political maneuvers, openly criticizing Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s alignment with Trump as a betrayal of their father’s values. “So, I am outraged and disgusted by my brother’s gaudy and obscene embrace of Donald Trump. And I completely disavow, and separate, and dissociate myself from Robert Kennedy Jr. and his flagrant and inexplicable effort to desecrate and trample and set fire to my father’s memory,” she declared.

The interview highlighted the stark divisions within the Kennedy family over political affiliations and the legacy of their patriarch, showcasing the emotional and political ramifications of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s pivot toward Trump.

Many users on X did not hold back on calling Kerry out.
